The main focus has been driving major projects in the energy sector with additional significant exposure to logistics, banking, aviation, retail, nuclear and government clients.

Assignments have traversed multiple regions including the Middle East, North Africa, Asia Pacific, CIS and the Americas. A common theme has been delivering high performance through strategies that align organisations to leverage strengths and respect differences, whilst busting the norms.

Christopher’s key strengths lie in working with senior executives to identify and analyse complex business issues, and engaging their organisations to implement pragmatic, measurable solutions to add sustainable value.

John McCreery

John is a former senior partner with Bain’s global energy and resources practice.  He has over 30 years of experience in the energy value chain covering the Americas, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Europe.  As a consultant, he has worked with all tiers of the industry; Governments and national oil companies, majors, independents, service companies and strategic investors in the sector such as Private Equity.  He has led a wide range of assignments with executive teams focusing on strategy (including the energy transition), M&A, performance improvement and organisational restructuring.

Prior to becoming a consultant, John spent 10 years with Shell International, in a variety of business planning, project development and execution roles in the UK North Sea and Oman.

Peter Slaiby

During a career spanning more than 30 years with Shell International and covering all aspects of the upstream energy business, Peter developed a reputation for finding solutions and delivering under difficult conditions.

He has broad, cross-cultural, international leadership and management experience gained during long-term assignments in North America, the Middle East, South America, Europe and Asia. As Vice-President, Decommissioning and Restoration, he successfully led Shell’s global effort to achieve significant cost savings, by developing a different way of managing, contracting and technology application. As Vice-President Alaska, he developed and built successful relationships with key indigenous stakeholders, moving from a position of litigation against the programme, to one of active support for Shell in Alaska.

Chris Dunlop

Chris has extensive oil and gas and energy industry experience, commencing in the Bass Strait, Australia, and subsequently in senior management and leadership roles in Norway, the UK, Singapore, Malaysia, Korea, Spain and Canada.

He has held senior leadership roles in Operating companies including ExxonMobil, Shell and Esso, and the  global director of commissioning for Amec Foster Wheeler.

Chris has a deep knowledge of both production operations and project delivery. He has led the development and managed delivery of large complex projects through all phases of the development and operating life cycle.

Chris has led the completions, commissioning and start-up of large scale projects such as Adriatic LNG, Kearl, Shell Brent redevelopment and managed operations across the central and southern sectors of Shell’s UKCS assets, and at a national level for Esso in Norway and Malaysia.

He has a strong interpersonal leadership style, which has proven to be equally effective locally and in multi-cultural international settings. His approach ensures safe and efficient project delivery and a smooth transition to steady-state operations.

Paul Harrison

Paul is a seasoned executive with extensive international experience in the energy, mineral resources and associated complex process industries. His focus has been on achieving strategic growth and successful project outcomes within prescribed company risk appetites.

He has successfully established and led company national and international operations, providing executive leadership to grow profitable businesses whilst ensuring safe, secure and efficient operations. Paul’s previous roles include Managing Director for Amec Foster Wheeler’s oil and gas business across Asia Pacific and global leader providing governance to WorleyParsons’ asset management and major Brownfield project delivery business.  He has directed key international O&M and major Brownfield project delivery contracts, with a clear focus on delivering outstanding and sustainable business outcomes.

Areas of expertise include business set up; M&A integration; integrated asset services contracting; delivery of cost-effective project and asset management solutions; safe execution of complex, remote Brownfield sustaining capital and growth projects; stakeholder relationship management with investors, market brokers, clients, boards and executive management.

Andrew Curtis

Andrew’s career includes extensive international experience in the upstream oil and gas industry, in roles with increasing leadership responsibility in operations, engineering, project delivery and business leadership in operator and contractor organisations. He has successfully established country level operations, achieving business growth through leadership in safe, secure and efficient delivery.

Andrew’s previous roles include General Manager, Operations, Oil Search Ltd.; Director, Kellogg Brown and Root Far East Pte Ltd; Director, Halliburton KBR Production Services, Asia Pacific; and key leadership roles in major offshore oil and gas resource developments. His past accountabilities include oil and gas production operations at asset and country level, and major project delivery.

Areas of expertise include HSSE leadership and risk management; developing, leading and directing high performance teams; managing and delivering cost effective project and asset management solutions; delivering complex, remote, brownfield projects; oil and gas production, facilities engineering, marine operations; operations management, maintenance, technical integrity; development of oil and gas facility decommissioning and restoration solutions.

Andrew is an accomplished energy industry professional with 20+ years engineering and leadership experience in the upstream oil and gas industry. His excellent technical and strategic awareness combined with his proven track record of delivering results and leading high performing multi-national teams, has consistently created material value.

Andrew is supplementing his oil and gas experience with a Masters in Sustainable Energy from University of Queensland, which includes professional level courses in renewable energy technology, energy strategy and innovation.

Andrew’s previous roles include Vice President Subsurface at Oil Search Ltd., where he led a team of 40 multi-discipline technical professionals to develop optimal asset strategies and then deliver on complex projects to maximise asset value. He has a deep understanding of all aspects of the energy industry including renewables (for example, projects to develop sustainable energy strategies for PNG and India) and a proven track record in the management of complex investment portfolios (for example, project opportunities with a NPV of U$900 million, in his most recent role).

His experience in project evaluation of major developments (for example, functional oversight of a U$1.5 billion brownfield project investment) underpins his ability to maximise value from existing assets through strategic, commercial and technical awareness.

His experience includes developing and implementing systems and procedures for project delivery in both the owner and contractor environments.

He brings a wealth of knowledge and demonstrated expertise in planning, managing, executing and delivering large multi‐million dollar complex major and mega projects (Greenfield & Brownfield) across a variety of industries, specialising in offshore & onshore oil & gas facilities, onshore petro-chemical, mining & minerals, renewables and power and energy infrastructure projects.

With a strong engineering discipline and extensive business acumen, he provides a wider-view of the business drivers, connecting the dots between data, understanding complex issues, driving results and delivering strong business outcomes. Hishaam offers invaluable management insight into infrastructure development, risk, change management, governance and compliance issues. He is results-oriented and makes informed decisions that are aligned with objectives.

He has a successful track record on projects in Australia, Papua New Guinea, Kurdistan Iraq, Middle East, Indonesia, Azerbaijan, India, Alaska and South Africa. Prior to his role at Corinthian, Hishaam has held senior management and advisory consultant positions in both public and private sector corporations, most notably as the Senior Project Services Manager at Oil Search Ltd.

Vicente Pao

Vicente has significant project management and business services experience in the renewable energy and oil and gas sectors and has worked in both owner and integrated owner-service provider organisations including Worley, Amec, Foster Wheeler, Shell International and Total. 

Vicente’s strengths lie in identifying business opportunities, evaluating their value-add potential and developing long-term, client focused relationships built on trust and mutual respect.

Throughout his career he has developed strong working relationships across the supply chain within the ASEAN region.

He has held various client facing management roles including VP – Business Services, contract performance manager, project engineering manager and senior project services manager.

Vicente continues to identify and select strategic partners across SE Asia for Corinthian Energy, where the sum of the collective partners has shown to be significantly greater than the individual enterprises.

Vicente has led the establishment of strong collaborative joint ventures, integrating local delivery with international subject matter expertise.  For example, establishment of an incorporated JV for  the supply of contract operations, maintenance and sustaining capital project delivery for mature upstream oil and gas assets in SE Asia and mobilisation of a project alliance for the design and build of a renewable energy, hydro-power plant.

 

Ally Oliver

Ally is an experienced oil and gas industry professional with extensive leadership experience in production, maintenance, engineering, drilling, operational excellence, projects and production operations.

He is a recognised subject matter expert in Process Safety and Safety Management System design. He led Woodside’s Intelligent Operations (iOps) stream and has managed operational excellence and business improvement functions at several organisations. He has a proven track record in building and leading high performance teams, using innovative approaches to solve complex technical problems and implementing far-reaching technical and organisational change. He brings simplicity and clarity to complex and ambiguous situations.

His strong work ethic in pursuit of organisational objectives and disciplined approach to delivering goals effectively and efficiently ensures high HSSE standards, operational efficiency while maximising enterprise value.

Operational leadership roles have included Production Manager for PTTEP’s Montara asset and Oil Search’s PNG assets, Operations Manager for Woodside’s North Rankin Alpha platform, Offshore Installation Manager on Talisman Energy’s Tartan platform and Operations Team Leader/Superintendent on Marathon’s East Brae and Brae Alpha platforms.

Ally’s extensive technical skills are underpinned by a strong business acumen, enabling him to bring robust strategic leadership to assets and teams, and to develop innovative techniques to deliver goals reliably, efficiently and safely.
